About the Irish Equestrian Academy

Welcome to the Irish Equestrian Academy-a place for everyone with a passion for horses and the equestrian sport.

Founded by Colm Fitzpatrick, the Academy is built on a lifetime of dedication to the equestrian world. Colm's journey began at just six years old when he first started riding horses. By the age of 17, he became a member of Show Jumping Ireland and competed up to the 1.20m category. In 2018, he became a member of Dressage Ireland, competing up to Prix St. George, and has set his sights on joining the high-performance squad within the next four years.

Since 2020, Colm has been sharing his expertise with aspiring riders, helping them achieve national titles and podium finishes. The Irish Equestrian Academy was officially founded in January 2021, after a year of dedicated groundwork to create a space where riders of all levels can grow, learn, and thrive.
